Stir Fried Lemon Chicken With Vegetables



Stir Fried Lemon Chicken With Vegetable is one of the best recipes that can be eaten with steamed rice. As everybody knows, stir fry method is a very fast way to cook a food. So this recipe should take around 10 minutes to make.




Ingredient




- 400g of boneless chicken meat

- 2 tablespoons of Chinese wine or dry sherry

- 4 number of spring onion, chopped

- 2.5cm of fresh ginger, that had been cleaned peeled and chopped nicely

- 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil or any vegetable oil

- 2 celery stick that had been sliced diagonally

- 1 small green pepper, cored, deseeded and sliced lengthways

- 2 tablespoon of light soy sauce

- Juice of ½ lemon

- Rind of 2 lemons, shredded

- ¼ teaspoon of chili powder

- 1 slice of lemon for garnishes




Method




- Cut the chicken into strips around 7cm in length.

- Mix the wine or dry sherry with the spring onion and ginger.

- Add the chicken and toss well to coat the pieces and let it rest for marinate for about 10 minutes.

- Heat the wok or large frying pan and add the garlic and the green pepper. Make sure that the wok is very hot since we need to cook it stir fry.

- Stir fry it for about 1 minute. Add the marinated chicken and cook the chicken for about 5 minutes until the chicken if properly cooked.

- Put the soy sauce, lemon juice and rind and the chili powder and keep cooking it for about an extra 1 minute.

- After that just put in a serving dish and garnish it with the lemon slice.




Notes




- This recipe is for 4 people and it is best served with steamed rice and also good to be served as soon after it is cooked.
