Cashew Chicken





Cashew Chicken is one of the nice and tasty recipes especially to all the Cashew nut fan. This recipe very easy to made and takes about 15 minutes to cook. Very easy and simple stir fry process and have a good taste of the rice wine too. Hope you guys will like it.

Ingredients

- 2 Tablespoons of corn flour

- 4 tablespoons of Chinese rice wine or sherry

- 1 number of eggs (egg white only)

- 400g of boneless chicken that had been cut into small cube and also without skin

- 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil

- 4 number of spring onions that had been chopped nicely

- 2 number of chopped garlic

- 2.5cm of clean chopped fresh ginger

- 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce

- 130g of cashew nuts, preferably unsalted cashew nuts

Methods

- Beat the egg white at the first place, but not to long. Just lightly beaten.

- Place the egg white, half of the wine or sherry and the corn flour in a bowl and stir the mixture until it is well mixed.

- Add the chicken cubes toss until evenly coated.

- Heat the oil in the wok (preferably) and put the spring onions, garlic and ginger and stir fry it for about 30 second.

- Add the chicken and cook it for about 5 minutes.

- Pour the remaining wine or sherry and the soy sauce and keep stirring until the chicken is cooked.

- Lastly add the cashew nut and stir it for about 30 second and it is ready!

Note

- This recipe is highly recommended to be served as soon as it cooked.

- Good to be serve with boiled rice as well.
